**It's important to note that we can not eliminate risk of transmission, we can only do our best to ensure your safety. Massage is close contact and with that, is an inherent risk; we will do all we can to minimize the risk as much as possible.**
What we are doing:
*Relocated our business to a less busy building to ensure peace of mind when coming in for your session. The new location has a sink in the room as well as a private bathroom a few feet away.
*Educating ourselves about personal protective equipment & extensive procedural protocols.
*We will not have curtains hanging at the new location so there is less potential for the virus to attach to anything in the room.
*We may open some windows in the room if it feels necessary in the moment.
*Extensive cleaning protocol. Every surface, between every client. We are using a hospital grade disinfectant.
*Longer time slots between each client to avoid clients running into one another as well as to allow us time to clean thoroughly enough.
*Our waiting room will remain closed until we feel it is safe enough to reopen.
*We offer online booking, which allows you to enter a CC number when you book so that we do not need to exchange anything.
*We will provide new linens (as always) and a new blanket for each client.
*We will be using pillow cases that will be securely placed on the face cradle to trap any germs while you are face down on the table (upon request).
*We will be using tea tree oil in our disinfectant as well as in the lotion/oil if you don't have an aversion to it because it is a powerful natural disinfectant.
*We will wear a mask at all times for your protection (upon request).
*The hampers for dirty laundry will have a closed lid and will be kept far from the massage room. The clean laundry will be covered within the massage room to avoid any unnecessary touching.
*The trash receptacle has a lid and will open with the touch of a shoe so you don't have to make direct hands on contact with it (both trash containers, in the massage room, as well as the bathroom).
*We will be screening ourselves each day and scanning our own temperatures. If we have any symptoms or anyone in our home has a symptom we will call to reschedule your appointment.
*We will be washing and sanitizing regularly.
What we ask of you:
*If you are experiencing any symptoms at all, we ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date. Specifically, fever, vomiting/diarreah, runny nose, congestion, ear pain, body aches/chills, loss of taste and/or smell, sore throat and a cough. You will not be charged a cancellation fee at this time while we know these symptoms can occur quite rapidly. Please also avoid coming in if you know you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID19 or anyone who suspects they may have it for any reason. Taking these approaches will allow for us to avoid the spread as much as possible.
*We recommend wearing a mask or face covering for your visit (if it makes you feel more comfortable) , unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from doing so.
*We ask that you wash your hands before and after your session using the sink in the room.
*If possible, please enter your CC into the booking system prior to your visit so we do not have to exchange hands of money.
*We ask you to utilize the sanitizer that is available for you.
*We ask that you only come in with whatever is necessary for you during your session.
*We ask you to inform us if you get ill within 2 weeks after your session with us.
Thank you all for your patience and cooperation through this challenging time. We will navigate these new waters together. We are looking forward to seeing you on the table real soon!
FYI: We are a Constitutionally Compliant Business.
